VfB Stuttgart is shorthanded, especially in defense. Left-back Borna Sosa is out with a groin problem and defender Dan-Axel Zagadou has torn a double ligament in his ankle at the Marbella training ground. Hiroki Ito and Konstantinos Mavropanos will probably start for both.
