Tottenham CONFIRM signing of Pedro Porro from Sporting CP

Pedro Porro has completed his move from Sporting CP to Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League.

In the latest football transfer news, Tottenham Hotspur confirmed tonight, Tuesday 31st January, that they have completed the transfer of Pedro Porro from Sporting CP. The deal was finalized with just five minutes left in the transfer window.

According to the Transfer News Live Twitter site: “Tottenham FINALLY completed the transfer of Pedro Porro from Sporting CP. €5M loan commission + €42.5M purchase obligation + 15% of the future transfer commission of Marcus Edwards”.

The versatile 22-year-old Spanish international can act as a right-back or right-back. He will now be pushed into action in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Antonio Conte’s side battle for a top four spot to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Porro joined the Portuguese team from manchester city last summer in a £11m move. A clause was included in his contract that entitled the Etihad club to 30 percent of the profits that the Portuguese club obtained from the next move of the winger. As a result, City could end up pocketing around £10m this summer.
