Former Duke of Palma, and convict, Iñaki Urdangarin is reportedly asking his future ex-wife, Infanta Cristina, for 25,000 euros a month.
The two parted ways by “mutual agreement” just days after photos of him with another woman were released.
Although they announced they would divorce in January 2022, negotiations on a final agreement have dragged on.
Now, the magazine Lecturas has affirmed that the liquidation of the divorce, which is expected to arrive in April, will include the 25,000 euros per month, with a clause that stipulates that neither he nor his extended family will speak about the marriage.
Infanta Cristina (57) and Urdangarin (55) have been married since 1997 and have four children. At present, it is said that Cristina pays all the family expenses in addition to 6,000 euros a month to Urdangarin.

The final blow to their marriage came when a magazine published photos of Urdangarin with his co-worker Ainhoa Armentia (44) during a walk in the south of France, near where he and his wife have a vacation home. .
Urdangarin later admitted that “these are things that happen.”
The then Duke of Palma was jailed for five years and 10 months for corruption in 2018.
However, in June 2020, he was allowed out for good behavior and converted his sentence to community service.
The former Olympian handball player used his royal connections to win public contracts related to the sport.
He then overcharged for events before hiding the money abroad.
He was convicted of using his Mallorca-based foundation to divert €6 million between 2004 and 2006.
Cristina was acquitted of helping her husband in court in 2017 and ordered to pay a €265,000 fine because she profited from her husband’s scam.
King Felipe stripped them of their titles of Duke and Duchess of Palma after the scandal broke.
The couple moved to Geneva with their four children after the first allegations surfaced in 2012. Cristina still lives in the Swiss city and earns 400,000 euros a year from the Aga Khan Foundation.
Unlike her brother, King Felipe, she has not given up her father’s inheritance, so when former King Juan Carlos dies, she will inherit a fortune.
