A POPULAR British food and travel show has moved from the BBC to Channel 4, as reported on Wednesday, January 18.

The popular British food and travel show Remarkable Places to Eat, hosted by First Dates’ Fred Sirieix, has moved from the BBC to Channel 4, the latter television company announced.

In association with Italian beer brand Birrificio Angelo Poretti, Channel 4 announced that it has acquired Remarkable Places to Eat and would now have “a new home at More 4 and Channel 4”.

“Every episode of Outstanding places to eat see one of Britain’s best-known foodies, including chefs and restaurateurs, take Fred Sirieix to a city in the UK or abroad that is home to three of the restaurants where they most love to eat, be it a High-end Michelin-starred food. or something lower budget that brings back strong personal memories,” the company wrote.

During its most recent season on BBC2, Remarkable Places to Eat attracted a nine per cent audience share.

Fred Sirieix, 50, co-hosted the show on the BBC with Michel Roux Jr, Nisha Katona, Rachel Khoo, Angela Hartnett and Nadiya Hussein.
