Adrian Kehr and Martin Tschenko have been the world record holders for harmonica playing since Sunday. For this they gave a 24-hour concert. Read more about it here:

Weyhers: Adrian Kehr (38) from Poppenhausen and Martin Tschenko (21) from Beilburg in Carinthia, Austria, did it: they hold the world record for harmonica playing. 24 hours a day – from 12 on Saturday to 12 on Sunday – his music could be heard at the Weyhers community center and in a live broadcast on the Internet. When the 24-hour mark was broken, the duo were still so in their element that they didn’t even notice the triumph at first and played an encore. It was the second attempt of the two.

fuldaerzeitung.de reveals why the first harmonica world record attempt didn’t work.

Nearly 1,200 viewers watched the moment on YouTube. 300 people came to the Weyherser Bürgerhaus. A handful of them even spent the night there with the two musicians. Kehr and Tschenko thanked them in particular. The certificate was presented to them by the 2011 World Accordion Champion, René Kogler. He represented Herbert König from the Austrian registration institute, who was unable to attend due to illness.
