In addition to its gym, Ocean Village Health Club in Gibraltar is opening its new £3 million health club and spa.
The new spa and wellness club, dubbed E1 Spa and Wellness, promises to have ‘the best facilities of any Gibraltar health club’.
Marketing director Kirsty Matthews said the facility will be popular with people who want a quiet space to exercise.
“People are investing more extensively in their health and this new space promises to be a great wellness experience for them,” he said.
E1 Spa & Wellness will be based in the E1 building on Devils Tower Road.
Special features include a 22m indoor pool, hammam steam room and cold plunge pool, sensory showers, plus a state-of-the-art gym.
All three treatment suites will offer Sothys of Paris treatments.
“The Parisian brand of spa treatments is highly regarded and we will be the only place to offer it in Gibraltar – it is all about massage rituals, beautiful facials and premium products,” said Matthews.
“With the cold plunge pool, you can soak after using the jacuzzi, anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes, and it reinvigorates the body.
“There are many different parts of the facility that we want to promote on the best way to use and the best way to invest in your health and well-being.”
The spa and wellness center will be exclusively for members but will be open for day guests.
Membership and Founder Membership launch this week and include a couples fee, plus £500 savings/benefits.
It is operated by the Infinity Group, which manages the Atlantic, Ocean and Sunborn health clubs and spas in Gibraltar.
