MÁLAGA firefighters from the Provincial Firefighters Consortium (CPB) have successfully rescued a trapped horse.

The event occurred yesterday, Sunday January 22, when the firefighters went to a private farm in the Malaga municipality of Benaoján to help the horse.

The animal had fallen into a ditch and was struggling to get out after getting caught in its legs by rubber irrigation tubes.

The horse was successfully rescued and released unharmed, according to reports from the Malaga Provincial Council.

It is not the first time that the firefighters of the Consortium have had to intervene to rescue an animal and last summer the firefighters of Malaga capital came to the rescue of a drone pilot in a desperate situation.

The drone pilot who lost control of his drone and made it land on one of the hills in the Monte Coronado area, became trapped in the mountains while trying to retrieve the expensive toy, sparking a rescue effort in the process.
