Earlier this week, however, the ruby player’s mother, Julie Davis, issued a statement to the Daily Mail in which she assured that the authorities in the Catalan capital were investigating whether it may have fallen into the sea in the city’s port. last October 30.
“Following a meeting with the Spanish Police on Wednesday March 1 and contrary to the false and heartbreaking news that is being published in some newspapers, the facts are as follows,” the statement read.
“Gang involvement is NOT being considered or investigated at this time, as they are focused on hard facts and evidence, including where you were last seen, phone calls you made, apps you used, and people you were able to meet.” have stayed,” he continues.
Julie Davis made it clear that the investigation was a missing persons case and that, contrary to the assertions of Burrows’ firm, “there is not and never has been an imminent arrest.”
There were reports of a man seen in the water by the harbor on October 30, and Davis’s passport was also found here.
“While we are grateful to private investigator Gavin Burrows and his team for the work they have done, we have asked him to now leave this matter in the hands of legal authorities,” added Julie Davis.
As part of its investigations, the Line of Inquiry found and posted a 15-minute video in which Davis explains that he was being blackmailed, claiming that he was filmed performing sexual acts after being drugged.
According to the Daily Mail, Gavin Burrows said last month that he was not convinced that this blackmail was linked to her disappearance, but that the authorities needed to investigate it.
