A man assaults two elderly women in broad daylight in the Spanish province of Alicante

The Civil Guard has arrested a 46-year-old man who attacked two women who were walking along a road in Crevillente in broad daylight.

The victims, both 64, said the man lunged at them for no apparent reason around 8:30 a.m. on February 2.

One of the women received a punch and was treated for her injuries at the Vinalopó Hospital in Elche, before being discharged and filing a complaint with the Civil Guard.

The officers had a strong idea of ​​who the perpetrator was, and he was taken into custody and charged with assault.

It was revealed that he was involved in previous similar incidents and that he had an arrest warrant issued against him by a court in Elche.

However, the man, with no fixed address, was granted bail.
